WHAT WE'VE ACCOMPLISHED TOGETHER
40 Years of DDD
We the Catholic people of Utah have purchased 40 pieces of land, over 200 acres, throughout the state for mission and parish sites.
We have purchased 22 homes throughout the state for rectories and missions.
21 mission sites have been significantly repaired, everything from furnaces to roofs to parking lots.
As one looks over all of the ministries that have been provided over 40 years with DDD funds: upgrading in liturgy, religious education, outreach to youth, people in hospitals and people incarcerated, our Safe Environment Program, our efforts in Hispanic Ministry to the growing population so rich in culture, so worthy of our care…so much has been accomplished by us.
We are blessed with 12 seminarians, their education paid for with DDD funds. Four men will be ordained in 2006.
For 40 years, we the Catholic people of Utah, have come together as a community of faith, through hard work and continued stewardship.
