The Diocese of Salt Lake City wants you to participate in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage! Pilgrims on the Junipero Serra route to the National Eucharisitic Congress will be passing through the Diocese of Salt Lake City during the Feast of Corpus Christi and you are invited to join in on the events!

Eucharistic Pilgrimage Events Around the Diocese

See below for the basic schedule of events during the pilgrimage's phase in Utah. Check back for more detailed updates. You are invited to participate!

MAY 31: ARRIVAL OF PILGRIMAGE AT ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 

The National Pilgrims on the St. Junipero Serra Route will arrive at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 3 PM. There will be opportunities for Adoration and dinner. Mass will be celebrated at 7 PM. All night Adoration will start at 9 PM.

JUNE 2: CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION TO ST. MARY OF THE ASSUMPTION

Starting at 11 AM, the pilgrims will enter Park City on the Rail Trail and head towards the historic Old Town Chapel (121 Park Avenue, Park City). Adoration will happen from 1 - 2 PM, followed by a massive 4-mile Eucharistic procession from the chapel to the main church (1505 White Pine Canyon Road, Park City). Bishop Oscar Solis will say Mass at 5:30 PM, immediately followed by a dinner and celebration at 7 PM. Click here for more info. 

JUNE 3: DOWNTOWN SALT LAKE CITY

On June 3, there will be a procession from the Cathedral of the Madeleine to the St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center. Mass and dinner will follow. Times TBD.

JUNE 4: UINTA BASIN EVENTS

Next, the pilgrimage will continue down to the Fort Duchesne Reservation Community with a procession at 10 AM. Mass will follow at 11:30 AM. In the afternoon, stick around for events on the historic Ute Tribe and Hispanic communities. St. Helen's in Roosevelt will host lunch at 1 PM and a Rosary at 3:30 PM. At 5 PM, there will be an evening procession from USU Vernal to St. James Catholic Church.

JUNE 5: LITURGIES IN VERNAL

The final morning will start with Mass at St. James in Vernal at 8:30 AM followed by Adoration. Then, there will be a final breakfast before the pilgrims continue on to Colorado.
